La revista Interiores se hace eco del proyecto de reforma de las habitaciones del Gran hotel la florida, representando este un exponente único en la montaña del tibidado! Es de uno de los pocos 5* Gran luxe de la ciudad de Barcelona y desde su creación en 1924 por el arquitecto ramón Raventós, ha visto pernoctar en sus habitaciones a lo mas nutrido de las estrellas de Hollywood (Rock Hudson, James Stewart, incluso Ernst Hemingway). El proyecto de Antique boutique con Alex Briones del estudio IN DESIGN respeta los elementos decorativos y estructurales originales refrescando su decoración con un diseño vanguardista que se adapta al clasicismo que se respira en dicha construcción. La combinación de materiales nobles y paletas de colores suaves realzan su sofisticación y calidez.

Born in Barcelona, Spain, with a self-taught artistic training -as he studied law- and with a marked passion for art, architecture and design, he began his professional career in the world of interior design in 2008 participating in casa decor Madrid inaugurating “Apartment seventy four”, a space located in the dome of the Luchana Palace that included a light sculpture of the renowned physicist and British Nobel Prize winner, Paul Friedlander. With a marked influence of Catalan modernism and art deco from the beginning of the century, his professional career is mainly focused on a constant commitment to achieve new decorative challenges with a clear maxim: “In decoration everything fits as long as you get the balance between materials, shapes, colors and textures”.
